Avengers: Endgame Encore Footage Has Leaked Online Ahead of Its Release

Marvel Studios appears to have another leak on its hands.

New footage from the upcoming Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release has started circulating online ahead of its theatrical return, and the material could reveal several important connections to Avengers: Doomsday.

The footage is filmed from inside a theater and is visibly low quality, making some details difficult to confirm. However, the scenes appear to match reports about additional material created specifically to bridge Endgame with the next major Avengers movie.

The re-release is scheduled to return to theaters on September 25, with additional material reportedly designed to set up the events of Avengers: Doomsday.

The leaked footage appears to contain multiple new scenes

The video circulating online appears to show several different sequences rather than a conventional trailer.

One section focuses on Bruce Banner, with footage showing the character in an isolated environment while seemingly documenting his situation. The scene reportedly connects to a new storyline involving Banner and Doctor Doom.

Another portion appears to take place inside the TVA, further expanding the multiverse storyline that will play an important role in Avengers: Doomsday.

Reports from viewers who attended early screenings describe additional scenes involving Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter, Loki, Bruce Banner and the TVA. These reports have not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios.

Loki’s return could be especially important

One of the biggest reported additions involves Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter.

The original ending of Avengers: Endgame showed Steve returning to the past and finally sharing a life with Peggy. According to reports surrounding the new footage, that sequence has been extended for Endgame Encore, with Loki appearing at the couple’s home.

The reported scene could have major implications for the MCU’s multiverse storyline, particularly because Loki’s story has become closely connected to the structure of the Marvel multiverse.

However, Marvel has not publicly confirmed the details of the leaked material.

Doctor Doom may also be connected to Bruce Banner

Another reported scene focuses on Bruce Banner.

According to accounts from early screenings, Banner is shown working on controlling his gamma radiation while living in isolation. The scene then introduces Doctor Doom, apparently establishing another connection between the villain and one of the original Avengers.

This could be particularly significant for Avengers: Doomsday, where Robert Downey Jr. will portray Victor von Doom.

The exact details remain unconfirmed, and different reports have described parts of the scene differently.

The TVA and the collapsing multiverse

The leaked material also reportedly returns to the Time Variance Authority.

According to descriptions from people who have seen the new footage, the TVA discovers that multiple universes are beginning to collide, suggesting that the multiverse crisis is escalating.

This would fit directly into the larger setup for Avengers: Doomsday, which is expected to bring together characters and worlds from different corners of Marvel’s cinematic history.

The reported TVA material has also been described as showing universes beginning to experience incursions, further establishing the scale of the upcoming conflict.

Is the leaked footage real?

Unlike some previous Avengers: Doomsday clips that circulated online and were debated as possible AI creations, the current material is reportedly coming from early screenings of Avengers: Endgame Encore.

Several entertainment outlets have reported that the footage appeared online after the film was screened ahead of its September 25 theatrical release.

Marvel has reportedly been working to remove copies of the material from social media platforms, although that does not independently verify every clip or recording circulating online.

For that reason, the footage should still be treated as unofficial and potentially incomplete until Marvel Studios publicly confirms the scenes.

A major setup for Avengers: Doomsday

If the reported scenes are accurate, Avengers: Endgame Encore could serve as a much more important piece of the MCU’s current story than simply a theatrical re-release.

The additional footage reportedly connects several major characters and storylines:

  • Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter
  • Loki and the TVA
  • Bruce Banner
  • Doctor Doom
  • The multiverse
  • The upcoming Avengers conflict

Together, these scenes could provide important context before Avengers: Doomsday arrives.

For Marvel fans, however, the biggest takeaway may simply be that the studio appears to be using Endgame Encore to begin the final stage of its setup for the next Avengers event.

Avengers: Doomsday is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
