The Avatar franchise is getting a new animated series with Avatar: Seven Havens. The production received a new trailer in September, revealing more details about Pavi, the new Avatar who will lead the story following the events of The Legend of Korra.

The new series takes place approximately 225 years after the events of The Legend of Korra, introducing a completely different era for the franchise. During this time, the world has undergone major changes, and the new Avatar must deal with a reality where her position is not necessarily viewed positively by everyone.

Pavi is a young earthbender who discovers that she is the new Avatar. The series follows her journey as she tries to understand her powers and the state of the world around her. It will also introduce new regions and communities, expanding the universe created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere worldwide on Paramount+ on October 9, 2026. The 13-episode series will be released in four stages: the first three episodes will arrive on premiere day, followed by episodes 4 through 6 on October 16, episodes 7 through 9 on October 23, and the final four episodes on October 30.

The series marks a new chapter for the Avatar universe, introducing a new protagonist and a story set centuries after Korra’s adventures.
