Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 continues to build anticipation among fans as more details about the upcoming release emerge. A new discovery involving one of the game’s weapon skins has caught attention because the cosmetic appears to be clearly visible only on Xbox.

According to a report published by Eurogamer, the presentation of certain cosmetic items appears to vary depending on the platform. The discovery adds another layer of curiosity surrounding the bonuses being offered to players who pre-order the game.

With the launch now less than two months away, Activision’s marketing campaign is increasingly focusing on incentives for players who purchase the game ahead of release. These bonuses appear to go beyond traditional store credit and include additional cosmetic content.

One of the most interesting discoveries involves a particular weapon skin that appears to have better or more noticeable visibility when the game is played on Xbox consoles.

The situation has naturally led to speculation about whether the cosmetic could be connected to a platform-specific promotion or a temporary arrangement involving Xbox. However, the available information does not confirm that the skin is officially exclusive to Xbox.

At the moment, neither the developer nor the publisher has confirmed that the cosmetic is unavailable on other platforms. It is also unclear whether the difference is intentional or related to the way the item is displayed under specific circumstances.

As marketing for Modern Warfare 4 continues, players are expected to pay close attention to additional pre-order bonuses and platform-specific content.

For now, the Xbox-related skin remains an interesting discovery rather than confirmed evidence of a new exclusive feature. More information should become available as Activision reveals additional details about the game ahead of its launch.
