The PS5 calendar is already packed with major franchises, highly anticipated remakes and new experiences that could become some of the biggest games of the year.

Among the highlights are Final Fantasy VII Revelation, God of War Laufey, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Persona 4 Revival, Until Dawn 2 and Metro 2039.

Some of these games already have confirmed release dates, while others are currently scheduled for 2027.

Square Enix promises a much larger world, with players able to explore the skies using the legendary Highwind, opening up new possibilities for discovering the game’s environments.

The combat system will also receive new features, including the FITS system, which allows players to modify character abilities and roles during battles.

Chocobos will also play an important role, serving not only as mounts but also as allies during combat.

With Cloud, Sephiroth and the rest of the cast heading into the final chapter of this story, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is easily one of the biggest PS5 releases of 2027.
