Netflix Cancels Ransom Canyon After Two Seasons
Ransom Canyon, the Texas-set romantic drama starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly, will not return for a third season, according to Netflix. The decision brings the series to an end after its first two seasons, both released in 2026.
According to the information provided, Netflix has decided not to move forward with the television adaptation of Ransom Canyon, which had become the subject of speculation among fans in recent weeks. The news comes about a month and a half after Season 2 premiered on July 23.
The series, adapted from an earlier work, featured Duhamel and Kelly in the leading roles, following the stories of Staten and Quinn. Despite support from viewers, the streaming platform has decided not to continue the story with another season.
Sources close to the process indicate that Netflix’s plans for the series did not include developing a new season, bringing the story presented across its existing episodes to a close. The decision comes as Netflix continues to adjust its content lineup, with several other productions remaining in development.
