The Pokémon Trading Card Game has joined the franchise’s 30th-anniversary celebrations with the special 30th Celebration collection. The expansion began launching on September 16, 2026, bringing together products created specifically to celebrate three decades of the Pokémon card game.

The collection features new cards and a special selection known as the Classic Collection, along with commemorative products and different versions of cards featuring familiar Pokémon characters. One of the highlights is a series of special Pikachu cards, with 30 different illustrations distributed throughout the expansion.

In addition to booster packs, the celebration includes special decks and themed sets. The release is part of a larger lineup of products prepared for the Pokémon TCG anniversary, which remains one of the franchise’s biggest ways to expand beyond the video games.

The celebration is also expected to continue over the coming months, with more products planned for October. One of the announced items is a special set featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, scheduled to launch on October 16, 2026.

With the 30th Celebration collection, Pokémon is using the TCG anniversary to bring together classic elements of the franchise with new cards and products aimed at both collectors and players.
